Configuration for High Availability

The configuration for High Availability must be performed on the Global (highest-level) Management Server. The easiest way to configure High Availability is from the Web Application, using the Configuration for HA using the Web Application. As an alternative to completing the HA set up via the Web Application, it can also be done manually by editing the HA Configuration, this is not recommended, however if needed the details are provided in the Manual HA Configuration Procedure.

The Management Server must have connectivity to both the primary and secondary servers, see High Availability Overview

Once the HA Pair has been configured, there are some additional optional configuration procedures available to allow for additional HA features.
